Leisure EB10 CRX Range, Failed Fan Oven & Clock/Timer?I have a Leisure EB10 CRX Range Cooker; it is just over a year old, the fan oven and clock/timer have stopped working. I think the problem could be the clock/timer unit and this in turn is stopping the fan oven as they are connected for cook time etc. The electric hob, gill and normal oven are working fine. Any suggestions or advice would be great...

We have a RCM10CRX leisure range cooker. It developed the same fault. No clock or fan oven but hobs, grill and conventional oven. Read these posts and bought a new thermal fuse on ebay - part no 4410101001 - thought it was worth a go. Fitted it and it all works again. Fuse found behing back panel on the grill side - held in by 9 screws as stated earlier. Very easy fix. Thank you.

My cooker had the same fault.....
I replaced the Thermal fuse and all is working again i.e. the clock's back on and the left fan oven is working again.
The thermal fuse cost around £6 on EBay.
I disconnected the power then removed the back panel ( grill side ) . It's just a case of removing around 9 screws...
The thermal fuse is on the right hand side screwed to the cooker body....around 7 inches up. It's cylindrical and has to wires connecting to it.
Swap this and finger's crossed you're left oven and clock will be working again

REMEMBER, ALWAYS ISOLATE AT THE WALL BEFORE PICKING UP YOUR SCREW DRIVER!!!!
My main fan oven stopped working and it was nothing more than the heating element, a very simple fix. However, when I powered up the cooker to test, my oven still did not work. So a search on the internet found you guys (and others) but no answers where coming forward as to the solution. I did learn from your questions that it could be the thermal fuse...so off with the back again, identifed said fuse and the route it takes. It goes to the clock, which was still working, this suggested that the fuse was not at fault. More searching, reading and thinking it through...and then it dawned on me, remember that the oven will not work unless the clock is set, don't just power up and try, you must stop the clock from flashing by setting the time!!
Hope this helps save you time and money!!
Good luck!

I think mine is also developing same fault - clock timer starts flashing half way through cooking with fan oven (cooker is only 13 months old). Hope you don't mind me asking but where did you source the thermal cut off fuse from as I think I had better be prepared. Thanks again.

Hi,
Not sure it helps much, but my Leisure EB10 CRX cooker has developed the exact same fault.
I've taken the thing apart and tested it as much as possible, and I think it's the thermal cutoff fuse (microtemp) on the neutral wire near where the power connections are.
I tried a replacement display first, but this didn't fix it, so I'm trying to source a replacement microtemp to try next!
Cheers
Ian
