There seems to be a problem with the stitch tension. Have to have the top stitch tension really high, otherwise it is really loose & loopy on the back, while the bobbin thread is straight. I'm capable of repair, if I know what parts need replacing & how to do it. Can anyone help?
You won't need to replace any parts is really is a matter of getting both tensions right, start at the beginning, make sure the presser foot is up when you thread the machine, top tension about 4 or 5, you should only just about be able to pull the thread through on the bobbin case with slight resistence, if it is too tight slacken the screw on the bobbin case about a quarter of a turn anti clockwise and test sew, you may need to do this a few times but you will get it right.
