servicing a Singer Touch Tronic 2010 Memory machine?
How do I remove the covers to service the Singer Touch Tronic 2010 Memory machine? I have removed obvious screws and can get some movement on the top metal cover but seem to be missing something.
I have a singer tronic 2010 memory machine and the bobbin threads as I sew gets all these loops the top looks great its just the lot of loops on the underside of the fabric.. I really hope that you can help me..Thanks Pat
Old post, but just incase you're still trying to get in there... You're on the right track. After removing the deep set screw, you need to pry the cover up and slide it to the right hand side (towards the hand wheel). There are 2 spring loaded retainers that you need to get to release. I would use something plastic to pry it up to get it started so as not to damage the paint.
Hello Celeste,
There is very little servicing on your machine, if there are no visible oil holes on top of your machine then don't take it apart, the needle bar is an important area to have adrop of oul on and also keeping the raceway completely clean, take the bottom off the machine and clean it.
