why does gas leak from primer button?

my snowblower is pouring gas out of primer button even after replaceing with new one can you help thank you

Toro Garden Tools, Lawn Mowers Gas Primer Button

When I had that problem it turned out to be a pinhole in the carburator float. This causes the float to fill with gasoline and since it no longer floats, it does not shut off the gasoline flow from the tank to the carburator bowl when the bowl is full. I replaced the float and that solved the problem.
