MY IDEAL STANDARD STDIO M825 WILL NOT FLUSH?

You almost certainly don't need to replace the ceramic parts of your cistern. You can normally replace the inner workings independently. I've done this and it is not difficult. Here's a link to the Ideal Standard spare parts site:
