brake lights don't work?

my car is a nissan micra L reg 1993 i think not sure though! lol as you can tell i'm not very good with cars

What make/model of car?
Have you checked the brake light switch? Move the drivers seat right back and slide on your back under the dash. The switch should be fairly obvious somewhere along the pedal. You may have to remove a trim panel to gain access.
Double check you have replaced the correct bulbs
