I have a ryobi ss30 string trimmer ry30000 series. Starts and runs great at idle, but will only run rough at high speed at 1/2 choke, bogs down when choke is wide open. I found the white and red adjustment knobs but I can't get them to move. How do I adjust the carb?
I'm having the same problem with my Ryobi SS30. My Echo blower carb is totally serviceable, guess that's why they cost more but the pros use them.

Mine did the same thing. Your Carb needs a good cleaning. I took mine apart but I don't recomend it, it is very tricky. I left the old gas in it, 2 years. Once I cleaned and replaced the fuel it should have worked but I ending up having to pry gap at the top a little wider and at the same time pry the adjusting screw caps out the top. I don't recomend this unless you are willing to replace the whold cab. Good luck
