I have a Friendly Format 80E combi boiler.
On average 1-2 a week the burner goes out, the first we know is its either cold in doors, or there seems to be no hot water. I simply re-light the burner. Is there something that needs replacing or simply cleaning. Cheers.
I have a popular Firebird series 90 and I have to keep resetting it to make it go on, iT IS KICKING IN ON WHEN i RESET IT BUT ONLY STAYING ON FOR ABOUT 3 SECONDS.

Possibly overheat thermostat (Can also be caused by failing pump & scale buildup)... Possibly PCB (Fan, APS possibly failing)... Very difficult to diagnose without seeing the appliance.
