The central heating is working ok, But I can't get any hot water. The water is only warm because the central heating is on. With central heating off only cold water and the boiler does not ignite. Has the thermocouple gone or something. The pressure seems to be the same, Ive even turned inlet pressure up to max. Can anybody help please. Thanks.
According to the 76FF manual, when running check that there is 24vac between pins 41 and 39 on PCB
- if yes check wiring to operator gas valve at top of gas valve, and ensure the outer combustion cover is sealed (5 screws plus tape over middle screw, seal not broken or perished)
- if no then new PCb may be needed.
Additionally, when running check that the modureg gas valve (lower at front) terminals have between 4 and 20vdc - outside this and PCB is very ill.
Note that the thermocouple is not a problem here - you have a piolet light. The little temperature sensor on the DW feed may have failed though, or your system no longer has the water flow it once did.
