How can I fix my Panasonic Mini DV camera, model number PV-DV102D-K?
My sister borrowed my camera and came back to me a few hours later saying that it wouldn't record anything. I had used the camera the day before and it was fine. Now when I use it, anything that you record will play back as a blue screen with the counter not ticking, and then it will cut to a screen of something previously recorded on the tape interlaced with one frame of whatever you'd just tried to tape, alternating in large stripes.
I've considered resetting the memory as an option, but holding down the eject thing didn't do it (it's not a button, but rather a sliding thing). Any thoughts?
Mine has gone dead in stages, first the LCD died, then it started killing tapes. eventually it stopped taking photos. I pulled out the memory card and threw the darn thing away. Its a poor camera. panasonic service sucks, they didn't even reply to my emails when I complained about it.
