This is the error message i get on my TRV900:
error C:32:30
one of the major problem is that I cannot eject the tape.
1-Does anybody know if there is "manual" way of opening the tape compartment? i need that tape out asap!
2- does anybody know about the problem? i read that it could be the Capstan motor, i have no idea what is it and how much
Thanks
HI EVERYBODY,
BEFORE YOU SHELL OUT CASH TO FIX YOUR CAMCORDER TRY THIS BELOW.
IVE BEEN GETTING ERROR CODES ON MY CAMCORDER AND THE PROBLEM OF THE CASSETTE DOOR ONLY OPENING SO FAR OR NOT OPENING AT ALL AND I FOUND OUT WHY! AND ITS A DODDLE TO PUT RIGHT.
DONT HIT YOUR CAMERA! YOURE LIKELY TO CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS.
ITS USUALLY CAUSED BY A VERY FINE RESIDUE BUILDUP ON THE BATTERY TERMINALS AND THE ONES ON THE CAMERA AND ALSO THE MAINS SOCKET. THIS IS CAUSED BY DAMP,HUMID OR WET CONDITIONS. YOU NEED TO TAKE A VERY SMALL METAL OBJECT LIKE A NAIL FILE ETC AND SCRAPE ALL TERMINALS CLEAN (you might think they look clean but trust me theyre not) AND THAT SHOULD DO THE TRICK. IT WORKED ON MY SONY CCD-TR515E CAMCORDER. good luck. KEITH
