How can I fix my Baxi Bahama 100 Combination Boiler?
Hi,
I'm a young female living by myself and not very clued up with boilers.
When I turn on my boiler the heating/hot water comes on for a min to 10 mins and then switches off.
It sometimes goes back on when i press the ignition light but then goes back off after a few mins.
The ignition light doesn't come up as a error so I don't think this is the problem.
On looking futher I think I need to re-pressurise it as the gauge is sitting below 1.
Could someone please give me a walkthrough on how to get the pressure back up. I've check other forums and pages but it's not completely clear and I'm worried about making a mistake.
Thanks for the advice with how to re-pressure my boiler. That's worked and the gauge is staying where it should at 1.5 but unfortunately it's not helped with my problem.
The boiler is still choosing to switch off after a little bit regardless if I have just hot water or hot water/heating on.
My friends think that maybe it's the thermostat. Will this be easy for me to do myself and where is best to get the part.
The ignition light isn't a issue as it doesn't light up.
look under the boiler, there should be a silver hose with oneor two valves on, turn them 1/4 turn the gage will rise when it reads 1.5 bar turn valves off.
