One of the bulbs has 'blown' on my cooker hood. (there are two). B&Q used a sub-contractor to install my kitchen, and he proved to be a real 'Numpty'.
He disgarded all the applience manuals so I have no way of telling how to remove the lens to be able to replace the bulb. The working lamp lens has been fitted with a screw whereas the one I need to change has a small white plastic peg securing it, so I reckon the fitter had trouble with it at the installation. I don't want to damage the hood in anyway...Can anyone help?
Easy, if its the model i think it is, remove the two flat pannels at the back by pushing in the tabs and loweriong them slighlty then pull them twards you, dont drop too hard or the little steel tabs break off.
then reach behind where the lenses are and push the to retaining tabs on one side of the lense until clear of the steel frame, then simply push out the lens.
After that you dont have to remove the control pannel assembly you can unscrew the blown bulb and replace.
