The website you suggested Ben did contain a live telephone number but they confirm that ABI touring caravans are no longer in business. The present firm has now no connection with it. They did maintain details for a few years but now have no info at all. The last remaining employee has retired.
I guess a steel rim of the same size with have the same torque setting no matter what van it's on.
I may try the ABI owners club, although I'm not one for joining such things.
Thanks again though to you and the others.
Thanks for your suggestion Ben but I think ABI have gone out of business. I'll keep looking although the numbers I've found so far won't ring out.
The annoying thing about this is 'Why do people keep hold of the manual when they sell the van'? What use is it to them, unless they want to flog it on EBay?
Ever car/caravan etc I've ever sold, I've always handed over the book to the buyer.
As a result of this I'm left blundering about trying to find essential information.
I'm pleased there are guys like yourselves, willing to try to help.
Good for you.
Well, no complaints about the speed of the reply, or the info. Thank you both very much. That's a real help. Can I ask another?
