whats wrong with My Hoptpoint FF200LP Fridge Freezer?
Several days ago I noticed my Hotpoint FF200LP fridge freezer was not as cold as it should be, adjust thermostats, no difference.
Pulled the Machine out to inspect the rear, and notice a Grapefruit size ball of ice around the two pipes that enter the Compressor assembly, the Fridge Freezer is currently running all the time I suppose in attempt to lower the Temperatures in the compartments.
Any Idea of the cause, I would add that I am under a Repair Insurance with Hotpoint who cant appear for another 4days
Look at the back wall of the fridge and find a gully, there will be a small drain hole in the middle, use something thin to poke around it to clear.
It drains onto a thing called a dissipator that sits on top of the compressor (motor unit). As the compressor is nearly always hot the water should evaporate away.
