I have got a vaillant combi-heater t3w and the pressure has droped to zero?
Vaillant combi heater vcw-sine T3W boiler. Pressure has dropped to zero on gauge. How do i get it back up? I am total novice! Pls help. Thank you. Kola
Please could you clarify where the valves are - with a photo/diagram if poss.
There appear to be 3 copper pipes entering the boiler from underneath. The pipe on the left is called the Service Cock Flow, the pipe on the right is called the Sevice Cock Return. They both have valves that are already set to open.
the middle pipe is slimmer and also has a valve on it set to open already. There is a Cold Water Shutoff Valve indicated in the manual somewhere under the boiler. Is this middle pipe the CW Shutoff Valve? Is this the valve i need to open to refill the pressure to 1.5 bar? If not, then where is the valve to re-pressurise the system?
There should be 2 taps/valves under the boiler, one is cold mains in and the other the fill valve for the boiler, basically open the 2 taps to pressurise the system.
There may be fixed pipe between the 2 valves or a flxible braided hose, also there should be a non return valve, these sometimes have a tendancy to get stuck, so if you have difficulty filling check this nrv.
