My carburettor is vacoom and he cooses me a lot off problems. One off the vacoom ventilles is broken, and i don`t know how to fix;the engine don`t work smootley.
The car is Toyota corolla 1,3 liftback manufactured in 1989,160.000.km.EE90.
If the car is not running smoothly on acceleration, the first thing I would try is replacing the HT leads. Buy a quality set, not a cheap one as you will only waste money otherwise. Make sure the spark plugs are gapped to 1.0mm - new ones normally come set with a smaller gap and need widening, and make sure you have the right plugs with the long core nose (NGK's are best). I wouldn't suspect the carburettor at first unless you have tampered with the float inside. Make sure all the little rubber hoses that run to it though are secure and are in good condition. I don't know if this is what you mean by 'vacoom ventilles', but fuel hose can be used just as well and that can be bought anywhere cheaply.
It's very unlikely there is anything seriously wrong with this engine - mine has done over 200,000 miles.
