JENNY YOU WILL NEED TO RESEAT YOUR VIDEO CARD.
IF THEAR IS ONE IN THE PC THAT IS WHY THE MODEL NOS IS IMPORTANT, ANY WAY
HERE ARE THE STEPS
POWER DOWN THE PC AND MONITOR AND UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FOR THE MONITOR, NEXT UNPLUG ALL THE CONNECTIONS THAT ARE PLUGGED INTO THE REAR OF THE TOWER (KEYBOARD,MOUSE,VIDIO,ECT)NEXT MOVE PC/TOWER TO A PROPER WORKING TABLE, NEXT CHECK TO SEE IF THE SCREWS THAT HOLDS DOWN THE COVER OF TOWER IS A THUMB SCREW OR ANOTHER TYPE (STAR OR PHILLIPS HEAD,FLAT HEAD ECT) GET CORRECT SCREWDRIVER AND REMOVE THE SCREWS. BASE ON THE MODEL OF THE PC USUALLY THERE ARE TWO TOO FOUR SCREWS (2-4). NEXT REMOVE THE COVER AND SET ASIDE NEXT LOCATE THE VIDEO CARD ( WHERE THE MONITOR PLUGS INTO USUALLY BLUE) AND EATHER UN CLIP THE SECURING TAB OR REMOVE THE SCREW THAT IS SECURING THE CARD TO THE CHASSIS OF THE PC,THIS CARD USUALLY SITS IN A SLOT CALLED THE PCI SLOT(USUALLY WHITE IN COLOR) IF IT IS A PCI VIDEO CARD OR IT WILL BE LOCATED A LITTLE HIGHER UP IN A SLOT CALLED AN APG SLOT (USUALLY BROWN IN COLOR), NEXT TOUCH THE METAL CHASSIS OR ANY METAL PART OF THE PC SO AS TO GROUND/NUTRALIZE YOUR SELF FOR A FEW SECONDS OR USE AN ANTISTATIC WRIST STRAP AND ATTACH IT TO THE FRAME OF THE PC NEXT GENTLY ROCK THE CARD LEFT AND RIGHT ALONG THE SLOT NOT FOWARD AND BACKWARDS AND REMOVE THE CARD, CHECK THE EDGE OF THE CARD (THE GOLD CONTACTS) FOR DIS COLORATION OR CORROUSION, IF IT IS DIRTY USE AN ERASER TO CLEAN THE CONTACTS ON BOTH SIDES AND RE CHECK THEM, ONCE THEY ARE CLEAN RE-INSERT THE CARD INTO THE SLOT UNTIL IT STOPS (USUALLY YOU WILL SEE A LITTLE OF THE CONTACTS SHOWING ABOVE THE SLOT. NEXT REPLACE THE SCREW OR LOCKING TAB,REPLACE THE COVERS AND SCREWS, PLUGG IN ALL THE CONNECTORS AND POWER UP THE PC AND THE MONITOR. IF YOU GET THE SAME GREEN SCREEN THE VIDEO CARD WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.NOTE WHILE YOU ARE IN THERE LOCATE THE MEMORY STICKS(USUALLY LOCATED NEXT TO THE PROCESSOR(THE THING WITH THE FAN ON IT) AND UNCLIP THEM AND RESEAT THEM REMEMBER THAT VIDEO AND MEMORY GOES HAND IN HAND
GOOD LUCK
