Go to http://192.168.1.254/ in your browser
go to advanced
click on "Continue to advanced"
Enter Username and Password (admin admin if you haven't reset it)
Under the "wireless" section you will see a section marked Channel Selection:

On the drop down below it change the channell to 9.
If this is a new installation, I'd agree with the answer above in that you shouldn't use the BT installation software.
Go into the advanced settings from the main Router Screen - use the URL ADDY of 192.168.1.254 (I think the username and password are both ADMIN unless you've changed them)
I use WPA-PSK security settings - you will need to set up a 13 character password. Then try connecting again using the settings you have made and this new password.
That is the only way I could connect...the software didn't work and the so called password/ID on the rear of the hub didn't work either. Took me no end of fiddling, and I think BT must make a mint out of support calls as a result (I'm used to setting up networks and it boogered me for a while).
