Goodmans Gnav 10 cant read memory cards.?I have a Gnav 10 that turns on ok but when I put a card in which I know has maps on it, it says no maps were found. The memory card is then somehow damaged from being put into the device. Has anybody else come across this? Does anybody know of a repair? Thanks for any help.

I tried installing a 2GB Sandisk SD card on my GNAV10, but it did not recognise it. It seems like it only works with 1GB SD cards.

First off, what is the size of the memory card ?
Memory cards over 2 GB won't work properly, this is a limitation of the Operating system of the GNAV10.
Second, how did you copy the maps onto the card ? If you just copied them via your pc to a card reader, it won't work, the format is different. Maps need to be loaded via Microsoft Active Sync: Use the Desinator Console to do that, else the unit does not recognise the map.
Let me know if this solves your problem, Cheers, Arthur.
